This is a premium product with a premium feel—the cable housing shares a common trait with other MisterAddons cables, being of a good thickness, with the perfect amount of bend without feeling rigid or flimsy. Also has a snug fit that doesn’t have me worry about connection issues. It’s nice when looking at a mess (sorry Sega!) of hardware, that I can eliminate at least one connection point as being a problem when troubleshooting and buying secondhand consoles missing parts like a baller on a budget. Most common aftermarket 32x patch cables found on Amazon and the like for connecting the AV out of your Genesis / MegaDrive to the Sega 32X actually have an additional pin that delivers unnecessary power, resulting in useless strain and a common issue or needing to unplug the system for power on/off and or modify the cheap cable. Oof! No such problem here. Just like my Saturn/Din10 universal cables, if given a choice between this and OEM, I’d grab this one first. Buy with confidence (just make sure you pick the correct Genesis model when ordering, as model 1 and 2 Genesis, or Geneses[gen-eh-seas]? as no one calls them, have slightly different connections.) Long live the tower of Power! SEGA!
So if you have a Gen 2, you can just plug this into your Genesis AV out and 32X in, and then repurpose your AV cable to the 32x AV out.

I purchased this to replace an old Analog IO board (Ebay purcahsed in 2019) that had some defects (no analog audio and non-working USER port). I had a mess of cables and converters while using the defective Analog IO with a CRT TV.

I love the simplicity the mini-din-10 (Saturn) port allows. One single cable! No DAC! No YC encoder!

I've tested the board using both composite and SCART and get better results than previously (some cores that would not sync properly with my old IO board look like they should now).

This was a great replacement for what i had plus I got a free dual barrel jack AC adapter as a bonus. Though I've only had the equipment for 19 days so I can't speak to longevity. However, it does look like good quality components so time will tell.

This unit came with the firmware pre-flashed on the SD card and I really only had to plug it in my cabinet with an ethernet and do the update_all with a usb keyboard. Mostly all the arcade cores display on the monitor exactly like arcade pcbs I have. There was no lag. This is very overwhelming and I'm glad I don't have to dish out thousands on arcade boards that are no longer in production. It's pricey but there is payment plan options if you qualify. This is more than worth it if you have a healthy arcade cabinet.

I upgraded my IO board to the Analog Pro so I needed a new rear panel and while the purple one was out of stock, I got the white one to match my new light gray Armor Shock+ and it looks great.

Eliminates the need for adhesive rubber feet on the bottom and covers a lot of the unused ports and protects the exposed USB hub connector. I almost got the purple one to match with my aluminum enclosure but went with light gray instead and I'm glad I did, the two-tone gray & purple looks so good.

The video and audio output is superb through the new Saturn Mini-DIN port and being able to easily power on/off the MiSTer with the front button is so much better than reaching behind and switching of the inline power switch.

I use this to send RCA video out to my CRT TV. It totally works. I've been playing neo geo, SNES, mega drive, arcade, and NES core with this and every resolution/refresh rate has been supported properly. If you want to output from your VGA port to a CRT TV via RCA, you need this adapter. You cannot simply use a VGA to RCA cable.
