I bought this to hook up my Analogue 3D using HDMI and then outputting to RGB. I thought this would be a great device that would work like a DAC but unfortunately this is a 1:1 digital video to RGB so you will need a nice CRT monitor that can display the same resolution as some of these modern consoles. Still a very cool device for those looking to convert HDMI to VGA.
