SNAX64 is the latest version of SNAC that retains all previous functionality of SNAC and SNAX and adds support for P3 and P4 N64

* Multitap must be plugged into the correct ports relative to original hardware
** Early Saturn SNAC testing is underway. The core is in beta and doesn't have SNAC but there are test builds on the MiSTer FPGA Discord server.
NOTES:
- DOES NOT CONTROL MAIN MENU - NEED USB INPUT METHOD TO NAVIGATE
- Requires controller adapters
- The HDMI ports are tighter than previous SNAC versions but will loosen up over time. Remove the adapters by gripping the connector, not the cable. Each port has been hand tested by yours truly :)

Instructions:
- Load a supported MiSTer core
- Plug controller > hdmi-style adapter > SNAC/SNAX > USB 3 cable > IO board's USB 3 "User" port
- Navigate to the option for controls (name varies per core: “Serial”, “SNAC”, etc.
- Some cores require certain accessories to be used in specific ports. You may need to move the accessory to the other port (SNAX only) or use the “Swap joysticks” option in the core’s menu.

Wasn't sure if I needed this.. but a nice upgrade over ver2 just because of longer and permanently attached (no more disconnects by pulling) cable is awesome.. worked perfectly immediately..
Splurged a bit to buy this and a bunch of controller cables, and am so glad I did. It is really cool to just plug in a system's controller and have it work perfectly. If you want a really immersive experience, this is the way to go.
I've recently been playing with a lot of retro controller for mister solutions, include old versions of SNAC/SNAX, Blisster, and Daemonbyte adapters and they do all have their own pros and cons. That said, if I'm making any single recommendation for people that just want to use their retro controllers on Mister without having to think about it, I would recommend this in a heartbeat. I was able to plug it in, plug my controllers into it, and play a game with them in about 60 seconds after unpacking it.
I bought Snax64 and a handful of adapters to start with so I can try my Genesis, PlayStation, and N64 controllers on the Mister. Not only is the experience 1:1 with hardware (zero input lag) but I turned my Snax64 adapter around and was surprised to find a yellow port for hooking up lightguns. I bought a Namco Guncon 1 and took turns playing Time Crisis with my friends and we had a blast. I’m going to buy a second PSX adapter and a second Lightgun as soon as possible. With Snax64, the Mister experience is complete. There’s no other way to play, not for me anyway. Not anymore.
