Thermal characteristics
These measurements were performed in 2020, just before the case was released. Since that time, thousands have been sold and used all around the world. Rest assured the case provides both adequate cooling and protection. The FPGA used by the DE10-nano has a max temp rating (TJmax) of 100C. It's an industrial-class device and this aluminum armor is the best enclosure for it.
Troubleshooting
Won't boot?
Remove and reinsert the SD card. Ensure you have a 5V 2A (preferably 3A) power supply connected to the USB-C port in the rear. Use the left button to toggle power on or off.
No HDMI video output?
Set direct_video=0 in MiSTer.ini. If using IO Direct, use the BOTTOM HDMI port (DE10-nano output). The top HDMI port is the input for IO Direct's DAC.
USB devices don't work?
Ensure the rear DC power jumper is installed properly. It is required to route power to USB devices.
Upgrading to a larger SD card?
Use mr-fusion to prepare the new card, then copy your files.
