Corrects SNAC/PCE's only flaw, but may require an extension cable.
That standard SNAC options couldn't accurately accommodate the turbo switches on original PCE controllers has been a glaring shortcoming of Mister's for years. These are the defining features of those controllers and, imo, constitutive of the PCE's identity as a console. Thankfully, that's over. Now using PCE controllers on the appropriate cores feels identical to playing on console.
There is one flaw with the device, however: the housing. It is clearly designed with the aluminum Mister enclosure in mind, as it anticipates the edges of the top Mister panel (the ceiling) being flush with the four side panels (the walls). I have an older but still quite common acrylic style case whose ceiling has a "lip" that juts out just beyond the walls. Because the housing on this adapter is quite tall, it will not insert all the way into my User port without the aid of a USB 3.0 extension cable, so he sure to grab one of those if you have an acrylic Mister case.
Would really appreciate a shorter version of the housing for legacy users, but a USB 3.0 extension cable gets the job done.
